The kommune of Bø is slightly confusing as the "town" is also called Bø, but the sculpture is somewhere else, the church also not in the town...who cares, it is beautiful and the sun was shining... Nykvåg was initially a bit of a let down as the much publicised nesting colonies hardly materialised, maybe I was in the wrong place or at the wrong time, but ultimately I hardly cared! It was such a pleasure to just drive along empty roads and absorb the scenery. The sculpture in Bø was not particularly exceptional, but the background, the intensity of the sky made it all worthwhile
