It's grim up North!
Whilst enjoying a social, if not
economic, rejuvenation, Manchester serves to remind us of just how dark and
cold and wet it is up there. At the same time it is really fascinating
to wander around the streets to see the amazing, multi-cultural activities
alongside the remnants of England's industrial wealth and heritage.
And so, complementing the culinary delights of the
Curry Mile, some incredible
Neo-Gothic buildings, art galleries and museums all demonstrating the
pinnacle of "Great" Britain, now sadly decaying...
